Default posi trac

I just bought a mini LST and the seller informed me he had glued the center diff for "posi trac."

~What specifically and exactly does this mean?

-Thanks,
Christoph

Default RE: posi trac

It means he probably filled the differential with glue (likely cause the gears got ruined) and now both wheels get power all the time. Similiar to a full size car having posi-traction.
