RC FLUX XS Savage Flux
 

Hi All,

I have purchased Hpi Savage XS flux in OCT 2012. I use lipo 3S 11.1V 3800 mah battery. 24t pinion gear and 48t idler gear.
THe problem is each time i play the pinion gear slips from the motor dont know why.

please suggest

You need to use blue loctite on the set screw that holds the pinion to the motor shaft.

Apply a little red loctite to the motor shaft before sliding the pinion on,

I had this problem happen a couple times on my xs ss,

Now it never moves,

just use a pinion gear removal tool to get it off the shaft when you need it off.
