Default ecu timer question

Does having battery power applied to ecu cause the turbine run timer to count?

It ain't gonna count unless it's plugged in.... But your answer is no.

The ECU timer starts when you have a successful Turbine start and doesn't end after shutdown until you remove receiver power, so during cool down the timer is ticking away

Fender. . .

All of the previous answers are correct. Our timer counts just like a clock regardless of throttle position while turbine is running and during cool down. Idle time recorded is the same as wot time recorded.

Thanks for the question.

After cool down turn your Rx off. The timer is still running.

Fender:

Did you check, verify the total time recorded in the ECU when received ? We test each and every turbine a minimum of three times at our facility prior to shipping. Any questions, feel free to contact me by phone or email @ jetartessales@aol.com
Please provide your serial number so I may check our records.

Thanks,
Eric
