Default New Rabbit 100 Concern

I have a new Rabbit 100 that was sent to me test run. One of the rear compressor blades has is white and has something flaking off it.
I am not sure if this is contamination or a breakdown in the metal. I amconcerned to run this turbine,

Hi there,

Not a problem at all. This is part of the way they index the wheel while balancing I believe. All of the motors I have and have seen have this - it almost looks like "white-out" or "liquid paper" on the blade!

Your Rabbit is ready to ruuuuun!

Alex:

Welcome aboard !

I truly hope you are completely satisfied with the answer to this question. You received answers from our manufacturing facility, from me via email, from smitty1001 who is a very knowledgeable and valued field representative and. . . .again from me on the telephone just a few minutes ago.

So,
Officially, the white paint on one of the blades of the turbine is a heat sensitive paint used for balancing and to verify temperature performance during the three operational tests prior to preparing for shipping. It will most likely remain on the blade for its life.

Best regards,
Eric Clapp
Managing Director

PS> your missing (intentional) fuel filter was mailed today.

Eric,

I appreciate the quick response, have always heard great things about Jet Central and now I see them for myself.
