Default No Warranty?

Nothing is wrong with my engine but just something I cam across.

Last year when I bought my rabbit 100 I was shortly out of surgery from a major break in my leg. Somehow through shuffling of stuff I missed a 1 page paper, loose leaf, that tells me I have to fill out this form and send it in or there is no warranty. I missed this paper apparently it fell out somehow and I found cleaning under my bed.

Is this true, my $2600 turbine has no warranty?

Can I still send in this paper or am I SOL?

essyou35:

Please complete the warranty registration, scan and email to : [email protected] We need a copy of your sales receipts as well. Scan of both is acceptable.

Thanks for the question,
Eric

This is a common practice by manufacturers to say if the product is not registered its warranty is not valid. The laws in the US prevent a manufacturer from denying warranty coverage to original purchasers that can provide proof of purchase. Regardless if the product was registered or not. However registering with the manufacturer makes things a whole lot easier for everyone and can allow them to contact you in the event of some sort of recall or whatever.

Now I'm not at all saying JC or any of the other awesome turbine manufactures do or have caused any issues. Just something Id like to share

I am still waiting for your warranty registration. As requested, please complete, scan and email your registration with sales receipt. Once received, your registration is complete. NOTE: without the original LTW registration on file, the warranty may not transfer to a buyer should you decide to sell the turbine.

Thank you,
Eric
