Converting the Super Bee from 14 pounds to 15.5?
Hi Eric,
I have an older super bee and wondered if you can convert to the higher thrust output of 15.5? Similar to the new super bee II.
Thanks,
Chris

Chris:
Older Super Bee's with gas start can be upgraded to give increased thrust however, may not be converted to Super Bee II with kero start. Cost of conversion is dependent on your current equipment (ECU, solenoids & fuel pump) and condition of the turbine.
Thanks for the question. . .

Eric, I'm fine with leaving the Bee with the non Kero start...Attached is a pic of the turbine and my setup...Don't know if there's enough information for you to tell if I can reuse the ECU, solenoids & fuel pump for upgrading to the 15.5 pounder?

I apologize for the late reply. . .that being said, in review of your pictures, you will need to replace the ECU, fuel pump, both solenoids plus service of your turbine.
Estimated cost excluding shipping is: $550.00

Eric
