Default Fail Safe delay setup

Eric,

I have some jet central turbines in Brazil and I would like to change the fail safe setting. Here there are no regulations about failsafe delay and I would like to increase the time a little bit. Can you teach me how to do this?

Thanks in advance

Gabriel

Hello Gabriel
The Failsafe time delay can not be adjusted and works like this
When failsafe is detected the turbine will go to idle for 2 seconds, if the signal is not recovered in that time it will shut it down
For the fail safe to work properly the ECU needs an "out of scale" reading, to achieve that, you will need to set your transmitter to 100% travels each side, and set the Fail safe to something like 150% travel to the lower side
If you don´t do this and program the fail safe just to shut it down, you will get a "User Off" instead of "Fail Safe" as the last shut down reason
Hope this helps and sorry for my English

No
It is not adjustable and the reason is because in the US is/was mandatory not to have more than 2 seconds delay
