Hi Mcgoo,

No...Keith Seivers took the pic...but I was flying the jet. You will be very happy with your Super Hornet...especially with the Rhino. It's a match made in Heaven.

Good luck Mate!

Cheers,

Beave

I bench ran the Rhino today for the first time...and may I say.........HOLY C%AP!!!!.......that thing is awesome. The Guys at our club were blown away with power.....not to mention noise that was coming out of that thing. I gave it two runs, after a bit of initial stuffing around, she wouldnt start...until I found that I hadnt hooked up the fuel solinoid corectly. Problem solved and it started perfectly. What a piece of engineering gold. I WANT ANOTHER!

Mr 3d,
I cannot say for sure about the 160se, but I believe its between 4-6 seconds from idle to full throttle.
We setup a RHINO last week for a customer and tuned it to reliably go from idle to WOT (wide open throttle) and measured it at 3.2 seconds..
This is part of our standard setup of each engine we provide to our customers.

Regards,
Rob

G`day Mate
I was a a mates place the other day & he fired up his jetcat 160sx its nice & has plenty of thrust. But I have the Artes falcon 100 & it is just as sweet. If you want my advise I would try Rob at Aujets.com & go for the Artes Rihno, its a lot cheaper than the Jetcat & the big difference will be when you come to the service. The lifetime warranty for the Artes is just that, you pay a fixed service cost & anything that the engine needs is covered including any updates made to the engine from the factory. You dont get that from any one else & the servicing is carried out by professionals within 10 days of getting your engine. Also if it comes time that you want to sell the engine Jet Central will offer the lifetime warranty to the next owner for a fee. So ask your Jetcat supplier if he can match that & also drop his price to compare with the Rihno, I bet he cant do it?
Cheers
Brian
