Much quieter than recips....most of what you hear is prop noise. I have heard remarks like: "How big is the electric motor in that thing?"

cheers,

Hello:

www.jet-central.com will take you to Jet Central Micro Turbines Web site. As for noise, it is in most cases controlled by propellor selection.

OUr jf 50 TP has been flying for more than a year mostly in Comp-ARF Tucano's (4 known) an in my case, the Great Planes CAP 580 Giant. We are using a Beihl 24 X 12 three blade with a prop RPM of almost 6,000. Noise is less than a normally operated turbine and far less than a gas banger. Observers repeatedly report our turbo prop sounds much like the 1 to 1's you fly in or watch.

I can supply references of NON TEAM pilots who are operating our system for further information should you need it. Our complete system with Lifetime Warranty is $4,995.00 plus $30.00 shipping within the USA, delivered to your door.

Best regards,
Eric Clapp

I've heard the Artes Jet Central and the Wren. I could not believe how quiet they are!

What is the size of your unit compared to the Wren 44?
