Default Rhino spontaneous idle increasing

Put four flights on my rhino the other day. On the third start up, the normal engine idle of about 32000 suddenly inreased to about 42000. After revving the engine, went back to 32k. Flight went fine and good engine performance. Did the same thing on flight four. What is happening? Thanks.

Mark:

I apologize. . . somehow I missed your post. Next time you run the Rhino and this happens, check the fuel pump to insure no leaks or kinks in the line. Please also note the PW when this surge happens. This info will help with resolving the issue.
Check also for possible restrictions in your overflow tank if you use one. Restrictions would be the same as having the vent line capped off.

Regards,
Eric

Thanks Eric. I will check those areas out. One question: what is the PW and how do I make note of it?

Plug your hand data terminal in. When running, you will see it on the screen along with the temp data and rpm of turbine. It will be a three digit number.
