ECU Battery Cable to ECU
Eric, please help me with these rookie problems/questions. I am building a DV8R and I want to place the ECU battery up in the front/nose area (looking ahead as to balancing issues). This location is quite a distance from the area I plan to put the Power Pack. The battery cable is far toooooo short with regards to where I want to put the Power Pack. What can I do; is there an extension with the matching green end caps I can purchase from you? Second, I want to put a 6mm Festo Elbow on the Power Pack Fuel In connector to allow easier lay up of the fuel lines. Would that be a problem with regards to voiding the Power Pack warranty? Happy New Year Chic. . .I just need to know the length of the extension you need (battery to PowerPack) and add two inches. We can make it up and ship it to you. Cost is minimal. 6mm FESTO elbo or 90 degree connector is no problem Just make sure the 6mm FESTO tubing is cut square and inserted completely in each end of the connector.
Certainly nothing to be concerned about with respects to the warranty. Regards, Eric |
Eric, thank you so much for such a quick reply. I'm looking at 15" (that includes the 2"). With regards to the Festo Elbow, one end of it will screw into the power pack where the current 6mm connector is, the other open end accepts the tubing. Will make sure the tubing is cut square.
