Need Help with P140-RX
I maidened my Skymaster F-5 this week with a P140-RX that I bought new about a year ago. The first three startups were flawless. On the next three, there was quite a bit of flame, with flames reaching about two feet out the back of the tailpipe. I'm concerned about hot starts on this jet since it has a bifurcated tailpipe. Is the 140 getting too much fuel at startup, and if so, why did it change after the first three starts?

RE: Need Help with P140-RX
it can be that the pump runs better
first the pump was maybe a bitt sticky
now when the pump has run more you need to sett the uacell settings back
maybe that helps
i had a p140rx too , but never saw any flames
