Ecu v6.0 firmware mismatch
Hi to all guys.
Yesterday during a start sequence this message appeared:
JET TRONIC 6.00V
RESET FORCED
FIRMWARE MISMATCH
RESET: PRESS KEY
P120
Some one can try to helpme ? ? ? ?
(maybe EEPROM or EPROM failure ? ? ? ?)

My Feedback: (1)
The circuit board under the engine cowl contains a chip with an engine type ID. The ECU reads this ID and compares it to the type of engine it has been set for. If there is a mismatch between what the ECU thinks the engine is and what the engine thinks it is, you get this sort of an error message. Usually the ECU will auto configure to the type of engine it is connected to. Apparently something was done to preclude this or you just need to accept the reset.
