Default Jetcat 160SX puff of white smoke on idle

Hi All,

Ive a second hand P160SX which Ive just flown for the first time today. Its being used in a yellow F15 with a bifurcated pipe.
I noticed upon running the engine up that the first time you advance the throttle from idle after the start up is complete, you get a momentary puff of white smoke.
Ive noticed it twice today leaving the pit area, and do remember seeing another engine do this at a jet event, but never found the cause.

Any ideas?

Oh the engine performed fine in the air.

Default P160 puff of white smoke

That sounds like too much fuel lower your pump settings.

My guess is you have fuel puddling during start up, if the start up is normal in every other way (is not taking multiple attempts) then you might have an internal fuel leak
