Default P100RX -E- code

Was doing a Bandit ARF maiden, and the P100RX flamed out during a half cuban eight (likely at the top). Note that engine is not new, just a few hours of use

Upon deadstick, ECU was reading -E- code (for bad thermocouple).

My question is, flat out replace the thermocouple or troubleshoot elsewhere? Also, kind of thought a bad TC would not kill the engine in flight, correct?

Otherwise, nice engine. Lot's of push.

Thanks,
David

It can be the cable, definitely plugged into the turbine still? x E x flashing?
Has the cable got small fine wires running with the larger cables? If so change the lead to the new type

I can't tell which cable I have Dave. GSU display now is blank, could be ECU battery. Waiting on an MPX adapter so I can verify charge.

That is the old turbine cable. I would definitely order the new type for turbine to ECU and ECU-pump

Dave... It was the cable on the engine end. It is stiff and the 90 degree bend has damaged the wires....so power is intermittent. I was lucky it did not die sooner in the air.

Ordering the new cable as we speak!

Thanks for your help

OK, the new cable has a 90 degree connector moulding.
