Default jet cat p 80

I have a jetcat P80 with a little over 1hr run time and I have the propane tank and valve
outside of the plane. after start up I disconnect the tank and plug the line but today
while doing a test run I didnt plug the gas line and I noticed a small amount of kero
dripping from the gas line, just wondering if that was normal.

Hi Ira,

That is normal and did not hurt anything!

Just so you understand, inside the turbine, the propane injector is right next to one of the kerosene injectors. With nothing to block it, the high pressure in the case pushes some fuel back up the propane injector.

Just try to remember to plug it, you don't want that raw fuel dribbling around the front of your turbine.

BTW I went to the March AFB airshoow yesterday near you, great show!

Hope that helps,
