Default A Question about changing from Kero back to Gas

Hi Guys,

I just got a brand new P120SE to replace a P80 I have been using for a year which was Kero start. I'm thinking of going to gas as when i tighten the kero plug in it faces backwards.

To get my solenoid suitable for gas again should I just purge it of all fuel and then pump some gas through and vent it?

Also is it ok to put another washer on the kero start, this would be my best option i think and less work to redo my plumbing.

Hi Jeremy,

I've put an additional PTFE washer under the kero start plug on my P80 to get the right orientation of the input tube and it continues to work just fine.

Regards

Sure you go to the test menus and vent some starting gas to clear the lines, just be careful it will really spray!

As for the ingnitor, it does not have to be tight at all, and a washer will be fine to help align it.

Hope that helps,
