Default Titan Starting gas ?

Just purchased a used eurosport with a titan and was wondering what the starting gas should be set to. It is set to 80% which I thought was a little on the high side.

Thanks
Albert

it really depends on the setup (full bypass/half bypass/no bypass/open design/etc........) I've ran anything from 20 to 80 percent. best way to test your setup is by starting it up and adjust accordingly, 80 isn't anything to worry about.

i use 100% pure propane in the green bottle off board. JetCat's LOVE it, a few of the other name brand turbines will be damaged using 100% because of poor injection causing uneven heating (which causes distortion). i do all the flow control myself nothing to do with the propane is via the ECU.

the only onboard equipment i have is a short pigtail that consists of, a 4mm check valve (this is where i plug in the propane for starts) that goes to a short length of 4mm Festo line, to a 4mm-3mm reducer then a short length of 3mm Festo to the turbine.

No, as stated above i do all the regulating, the ECU has nothing to do with the propane. i use a regulator on the propane bottle (the Dreamworks one) and it's a straight shot from it to the turbine through the pigtail, you have to have the check valve or hot gas will blow out the gas line after the turbine is running and it'll melt the internal Festo if you don't.
