RE: Transferring Models from JR 8103 to JR 9303
I did it. Transferred 9 models from my 8103 to ( 2) 9303. Followed the instructions in the manual to the letter and had no problems. I was amazed how easy it was .
Do not erase anything on the 8303 until you sure that everything going over to the 9303 is fine.
You will need cable.

Please let us know IN DETAIL how were you able to trasnfer models from an 8103 to a 9303 using the cable.
What cable? I have tried countless times with the trainer cord and it is not possible.
I have onwed, several JR Radios, starting with a 6102 and going thru a 7202, 8103, 9303, and 10X. I have worked with a friend's 12X and with another friend's 11X. I have not been able to succesfully transfer models between different model radios using the trainer cable. If you are referring to the Data Safe Software, then that is not "the cable".
I have been able to sucessfully transfer model from one radio to the other by manually copying all the parameters. They have been very close with minimal adjustement necessary.
