I would like to upgrade to the 10X system, I own both heli, and airplanes.. Will the 10X do both? Seems like they don't have that function. (At least I can't find it on the website!)

The 10X is model type specific. You can use the 10X heli to fly aircraft, but some extremely complex programming for aircraft would not be possible. But it will work for most aircraft. The 10X air is aircraft only and can not be used for helis.

Would the Heli system be able to do a Duel Elevator, and Aileron Differential, for planes? Would it have at least dual rates on Rudder, Ailerons, and Elevator?

Yes, you can set up dual aileron, dual elevator, and aileron differential. Those 3 functions use 4 mixes to set up though, and there are 8 total free mixes in the system. So it is easy to run out of mixes. Yes you would have dual rates on on three, but the 10X air actually has triple rates on all three.

Any plans in the works for a 10y? that has both flight types? Triple rates would be great!!! oh well, I probably go with the 10x air because I have more airplanes then I do Heli's!

I have not heard of any plans for a new top level TX. I do not think that when there is that it will be for both types. Having it model type specific allows the programming to be fine tuned further for each type.
