Most of those transmitters are low power.

For a Stryker you nead a DX5e, DX6i, DX7, DX7S, DX8 or any JR DSM. The DX4e is included in some stuff now, so you could get it as part of a RTF package, but it is not recommended for the Stryker.

Remember: "Buy cheap, buy twice." You can never have too much transmitter. Get the best transmitter you can afford and you won't be sorry.

buy a goodDSMXTx and then buy the cheaper BNF versions of what you want to fly.
Do not buy the RTF versions.
You can also get cheaper version of flight sim(Phoenix) that uses the same Tx.

Some of the cheap transmitters that come with the BNF aircraft are not Full Range (i.e., low power).

And by short range, that means NOT FAR ENOUGH TO FLY SAFELY. Full-range will go out to a mile, short range will only go a few hundred feet (if you're lucky).

At the lower end of transmitters I would at least use the DX5, works very well with the other Stryker, better to have more setting options tho.
