Default Flaperon travel on a sailplane

Hi all,
I have a X9303 Heli radio( prefer the switch to the button). I have a DLG with one servo in each wing working flaperons. When I pull the spoiler stick down for flaps, I only get to about 1/2 stick when I run out of travel.
I don't know if I have the radio setup wrong or is it my servo setup. I'm OK with the actual down position of the flap, but I can't get it to happen with full stick.

Any hints...?

Thanks
Andrew

There are travel limiters inside the throttle gimbal. The left and right gimbals have different throws.

The problem could well be your programming. Depending on how you programmed your flaperons, they could be fully deflected at any given amount of throttle stick travel. More information is needed as to the configuration you are using, GLID or ACRO. Also, how you are linking the throttle stick to the flaperons? If you are using a THRO -> FLAP program mix in ACRO, then it is a manner of using the correct rates and offset.

I am using glider mode, with the spoiler stick using flaperon in the butterfly mix( at least I think it's butterfly, don't have my transmitter in front of me). It's not a super big deal if I don't figure it out, I just thought some one might know what I'm missing.

Have you tried downloading the glider sample from our Community site?

No Andy, I haven't done that. Can you give me the link and I will try it out.
Thanks

Register your radio, then it's on the center of the 3 tabs when you click on Updates.

That won't help, Andy. I have a JR X9303 and the website only takes the DX8 as a radio choice in the registration area.

Any other ideas?

I don't know the 9303 radio.

Upgrade to a DX8 is the only way to access it.

I am not sure about flaperons, but when setting up flaps on the spoiler stick, you must set the subtrim (e.g., to about 200) and position the servo control arm appropriately in order to get full deflection. Here is a link to JR's sailplane setup for the X9303 (pages 5,6,7).
