Default AR7600 Receivers

I have purchased several of these receivers due to their high speed capabilities. What is the maximum size model airplane do you recommend that you can safely use this equipment? I keep hearing different opinions from different modelers so I thought I would ask you. Thanks. [:-]

The AR7600 is a full range receiver, use it in whatever you wish but limit the current draw of the receiver based on installation.

the limit is the servo style connector on the battery input, the AR7600 has only one battery input (although you can use any of the channels as an additional), these connectors have a 3 amp rating. so lets say you have an installation that would be over 3A, use at least two battery inputs to the receiver (Y a battery into any channel or plug directly into a free channel)

You haven't had any problems? I had mine in a 73" Extra which went into a "brown out" at 3/4 of a lap on the first flight. I sent it to Horizon and was told to not put it in any thing with a wing span greater than 40". It was designed strictly for helicopters, not airplanes. I know that Horizon will not back up this statement and I don't have anything on paper. Just be careful. I've got 7 of these rx's, 3 new in the package and I am going to be very careful as to what airplanes I install them in.

it's a full range receiver so i don't know why they told you that. i've had no issues reported back to me about them, again i only use JR receivers so i have no first had experience other then during the installation.

directly from the included instruction manual:

Applications
Full range up to 7-channel aircraft including:
• All types and sizes of glow, gas and electric powered airplanes
• All types and sizes of no-powered gliders
• All types and sizes of glow, gas and electric powered helicopters
