Default E-Flite Super Cub/AR7010

I am trying to set up an E-Flite Super Cub using an AR7010 receiver. No problems with channels 1-4. Channel 5 is Gear, and not used.

Channels 6 and 7 are AUX1 and Aux2

I am trying to set up flaps on AUX1, using a a "Y" harness and the three position switch.

Also, trying to set up ailerons independently on channel 2 (AILE) and AUX2. I assume FLAPERON must be "ON".

The results are unsuccessful. Can anyone give me some guidance on how to do this properly?

Thanks in advance,

Frank

Flapperon program mixes the Right Aileron, on Ch2, with the Left Aileron, on Ch6, so you can use the Ailerons as Flaps. If you have Flaps separate from Ailerons, you want to inhibit Flapperons. If you have a DX7, choose the Normal Wingtype. Use a Programable Mixer to mix Ch2 with Ch7.

I do have a DX7. Thanks, I'll give that a try.
