there is a bit in the news lately about some pretty severe Solar Storms heading our way, is there any evidence of them effecting the radio signals for our sport, 2.4 gig as well as the others we use.

Every time that comes up on the news I cringe and wait to see people with thier tin foil hats.

I wouldnt sweat it, if you're far enough south, enjoy Aurora Australius.

This morning all the 2.4Ghz guys at my club flew smoothly but the couple still on 72 Mhz had issues. But then, these issues have been exhibited on previous flights. The wind was more calm and the clouds moved more slowly. That was my observation from central Florida.[>:]

At around 6 am we lost power in my neighborhood......we lose power quite frequently.......probably just a fluke
