Greetings,

I have been using my JR 10sx for many years now, but two days ago when I turned the transmitter on, I got some warning beeps and it displayed the message "BACKUP ERROR" and then I lost all the data in my transmitter..all my settings

What would cause this? Is it related to the Lithium Battery getting old?

Any help would be appreciated.

It does sound like the lithium battery is drained and needs to be sent in to have it replaced. The battery should be checked every 3 to 5 years.
