I have no clue what a max66 is, but I just picked up an 8103 (US version of the 3810) and I absolutely love it.....

I'm not 100% sure what system the Max 66 is, but my understanding is that it was very similar to our older 622 system in the US. If that is the case you would be much better off with the 3810 as the 622 system did not have CCPM mixing and did not have much adjustability. Perhaps someone with more knoweledge on the Max 66 system could help out further with that question.

I use an X3810 for all types of flying include helis. its a great transmitter and unlikley to leave you wishing you had something better. Not heard of the Max 66.

Dear Zero1
May be Danny don't know Max66. This is the new version sold in Japan line of production. It is almost the same as 662 and it dose has the CCPM function( altough it is not necessary for your Raptor). But if you want to continue in helicopter hobby the Max66 may not enough for the future. the 3810 is OK but it wil be terminated in production in the near future. Buy the 9x which the price is not much higher than 3810 but it worth fo the next 10 years. the matter is you could not yet buy it in USA. and the manual now is only Japanese version. Find the info more in the title posted below.
