Default JR 9503 battery on circuit board?

I have a JR 9503 transmitter, I changed the battery pack in it recently. I was told that there may be a battery on the circuit board that may need to be changed. Is there and can it be changed by a user or does it have to be sent in?

I don't believe the XP9303 and it's later derivatives the X9303 and X9503 have batteries on the card. That was 8103 and earlier.
