DX18 throttle to left slider mix
I want to have a mix where I can close the throttle and then use the left slider (lever) on my DX18 to further lower the throttle setting. My DA120 is on a very light Extra 330. I want to use the slider vs the throttle trim.

I'm not sure what your experience level is but monkeying around with throttle trim on a gasser is problematic because they are so sensitive coming off idle.
Lots of guys use what I call a "Flight Idle" like you'd find on a full scale turbine. It kicks up the RPM a bit for flying so you have less chance of the engine dying while flying, but it allows you to consisently reduce the RPM for landing. You could do the same thing if you want; either setup a throttle/throttle mix or a throttle curve depending on what you'r comfortable with and assign it to a switch. Then you set the percentage to achieve the idle RPM change you want.
I would not recommend your approach of putting the throttle trim on a slider, in fact on a gasser just leave the throttle trim alone.
