Default What pole and gear ratio setting?

I've set up the optical rpm sensor to the mainshaft gear on my heli with the spm1452
I put a 1/4" wide strip of chrome monokote trim on the
shaft, red led on tm1000 flashes as it goes by.

My problem is setting the pole and gear ratio on the sti app(iphone)
i tried 0,0;1,1; 100,100- getting in the ballpark , but I need it to be accurate.

Disappointing that this info doesn't come with it

what are the correct settings to have the correct rpm with a single reflector on a shaft ?

If your sensor is reading the shaft itself that you are wanting the final rpm for everything would be 1:1. Right?
If your sensing motor rpm and there is a gear ratio to get to the final rpm then you need to set the ratio in telemetry and let the radio do the calculation.Right?
So...if I understand you correctly. Single pulse per rev from sensor mounted on the shaft you want the final rpm for would be Poles Inh and ratio 1:1. Right?

You would think that1:1 would be correct , buy its shows several thousand rpm when turning approx 120rpm-
the settings don't really make sense.
the red led will give a single flash when slowly passed by the reflector.
when spinning at any higher speed the sti shows waaaay too high rpms.
