Default DSM2 TM1000 use with a DX9?

I have an older TM1000 telemetry module - can I use that with my new DX9?

So far I have not been able to bind it. Receiver binds fine when using the bind button but the TM doesn't show up in the monitor screen afterwards and no light is lit on the TM1000.

All TM1000's, AR8000's, and AR600's are DSMX even if the label says otherwise. The technology was in them before we announced DSMX. So yes, your TM1000 should work with your DX9.

Are you binding the receiver and TM1000 to the transmitter at the same time? This is necessary, as the TM1000 simply listens to the negotiations going on between the rx and tx.

The other thing to keep in mind is that the TM should be near the rx, and they should be about 6' from the tx.

Of course it is possible that something happened to it, in which case it will need to go back.

Fair enough. I am using the same process I used to bind it to my DX8 which works fine with it. The TM1000 and the RX are within 4" of each other and I a have the DX9 within 2' or less of them both. The RX is a 6210 which has the data port and worked with the DX8 and the TM1000. I can rebind to the DX8 just to double check it.

I also updated the firmware on the DX9 and tried again but still no joy. Will try again in a bit.

You need more than 2' with the DX9. Please go to 6'.

If that still doesn't work, get the Product Support guys involved.
