I cannot get my Spektrum DX7s programmed to operate with two elevator servos. I am using a Spektrum AR8000 receiver. I know it is probably very simple but I cannot get the correct combination using the manual to get the elevator servos working. Help?

Go to the Wing Type screen. There you can select the Tail Type you want. Some tail types are limited by what you may have already selected for the Wing Type.

I received the AR8000 which I sent to Horizon for repair at your recommendation. They sent a later model remote and it works just fine with my Spektrum DX7S and with my JR 9303. Thanks for the recommendation. Speaking of the 9303....... it is an FM with a 2.4 plug-in module. Is there any advantage to having it upgraded to the on-board 2.4 system? Assuming there is any such modification available.

Ages ago. It was replaced by the 9503 which came out in 2009. You can still get service for it, and you can still get the $75 DSMX upgrade.
