Default New Dx6 question

I recently purchased this radio and I am very happy with it.
Does this radio have built in telemetry for receiver voltage or do I need to purchase
a telemetry unit?
I have a couple of friends with the Hitec 9and 9x and this feature is built into the radio
and optima receiver.

The as3x Rxs(636,6335,7350,9350) have basic telemetry built in. With all other Rxs you must attach a Telemetry module (TM).

Thanks for the reply.Im using 6210's guess I'll need a tm.
I fly nitro and after 4 or 5 flights I worry about the battery voltage and recharge.
Im using a 2000 5cell Nimh.

AR6210 is a very popular product of counterfeiters. Be careful where you buy - ebay is full of scammers.

Yes you need a TM with that Rx. IMO a worthwhile investment. It not only will tell you the charge state of your battery but will warn you of a problem in wiring, switch or even a servo going bad. Anything that may cause the voltage to drop at the Rx bus where its needed to prevent a brownout/reboot.
It also comes with a temp sensor. Once you figure out how to mount it on your engine you will find you can safely run a little leaner while monitoring temp with an alarm without worrying about it getting smoking hot inflight with no warning.
