Default Spektrum 9 CH not working

I have three new Spektrum receivers and one will not move any servos.
It will bind from my DX 9 and one remote will light...not the other.
OK,
I send it in to be repair and it comes back and now both remotes now bind and light BUT......
Plugging in JR servos will NOT work from transmitter that it is bind too.
I turn plug-ins this side up and down to make sure I have it right...and nothing... after Horizon repair said all works????
The three solid bind lights are all on.

I take my OTHER new Spektrum 9 CH receiver and bind and it works perfect.
Take a new Spektrum 6 CH receiver and bind to my DX 9 and works perfect.

SO, I guess I send this non-working 9 CH back to Horizon and say??? Try again!

Do you have all the remote receivers plugged in?

Take a look at the cables - it could be something there.

Yep, I sure do and I should have said, SERVO plugs.
When I got this new(Never installed) receiver back from Horizon repair all remotes now light.
I plug JR servos in the receiver and like before when I sent it to Horizon Repair all servos are dead from my DX 9 transmitter.

It is a little unsettling to get a repair back telling me all is well and all ports work....not!
I wish I would have kept the repairman's name but I no longer have the sheet.

A number of times I've put servos in backwards. Any possibility of that? Can you flip one over just to try? (Only 1 servo plugged in at a time). If you plug in the battery backwards you might still get the LEDs on.

I would be really surprised if the Rx were truly bad.

Wow, Thanks Andy for your advice.
Yes I will try one more time turning plug-in's around. I did before...but will try one more time.
I didn't know that about the power plug. mmmm
Yes, only one servo in ele or Ail. Will try all four controls for a try.
If not, she comes back.

I am looking at your new DX 20. When??
I do have another brand that I have to send in because of bad trims so I think this will be it's last year.
I just like the easy to program software in Spektrum radios best. I am a old JR 10 owner.
Thanks
Jim

Well guys, and Andy I guess this problem I was having was my own fault.
I must have plugged things in the wrong way twice (2).
Receiver works perfect and flying high now.
Old age I guess.

Thanks for the update. You aren't alone in plugging things together incorrectly!!!
