Default New DX 20 verse DX18

Is there much difference (other then price) between these two radio's for a scale flyer to use?

Are you guys ever going to come out with a 12-14 channel receiver?
Can I use a JR 12??
I know about the expander.....but?
Thanks
Jim

If you're into multi-engine, the DX20 supports up to 4 engines with the ability to mix for differential.

Sorry, that's one of those "neither confirm nor deny" questions.

Yes, a JR 12-channel will work with a DX20. ANY Spektrum or JR DSM aircraft receiver will work, actually (unless you're in Europe, then only DSMX ones). FWIW, Spektrum makes 12-channel PowerSafe receivers too.

Personally, my favorite receiver is the AR9020. It does 10 channels plus has the port for the X-Plus module.

Thanks Andy,
I just ordered a new DX18 and a extra AR 12020 12 Channel receiver.

This is to replace another brand radio that is three years old and losing trim memory when I change from model to model.
Not fun to re-trim a warbird at every start. Service refuses to acknowledge the problem because transmitter trim display still centered.

Thanks for your help
Jim

Hopefully you never have to talk to our Service group, but if you do, that's certainly not the kind of response you would get.

Welcome aboard!
