n00b spektrum & roboteq controller question
hi guys. i'm a complete n00b, so please forgive me if my question seems stupid.
i'm trying to get a roboteq controller (used for robots, not rc planes & cars) to work, but i'm running into some problems that i think are because i have a fundamental misunderstanding of how things work.
here's the issue:
the roboteq controller documentation says that it requires a spektrum SP9545 receiver.
i posted my setup in the roboteq forum:
...and asked the roboteq forum if this was correct, and they told me that everything looked fine except they said that the controller would only talk to an SP9545.
for reference, here's a screenshot from the roboteq website showing a controller using the SP9545:
so i bought an SP9545 and now i'm kind of confused.
so here are my questions:
1 - an SP9545 looks like an extension type receiver, not a "regular" receiver that has 3 pin sockets for throttle and binding and blah blah.
2 - how do i bind an SP9545? there aren't any bind thingys to plug into.
so..am i clueless and not getting this? ack. help.
