Default Will the DX3 Bind with a Blue Max SR3100 DSM2 receiver

I just bought a couple cheap DSM2 receivers from Blue Max, SR3100

I tried to bind them with my DX3.0 Transmitter but couldn't do it.

I put the bind plug on the Bat/Bind and power it up. I get rapid flashing.
Then I press and hold the bind button on the DX3 and power it up. They do not bind together.

Will this combination work?

Is there a different procedure to bind these?

Your transmitter is DSM-only as I recall, not DSM2.

Thanks Andy, looks like I bought the wrong receivers.

You really need to take advantage of our transmitter upgrade trade-in program next time we offer it. DSMR is the thing you want now on both tx and rx.

Is the DSMR compatible with my existing DSM and DSM2 receivers?

It depends on the transmitter. Some DSMR transmitters will also support DSM2. None will touch DSM - we stopped that about 4 years ago in new transmitters.

No, I don't have a list of which does what. The new DX6R only advertises DSMR support, so my guess is that would be the direction of the future.
