Spektrum Dx5e binding issue w/ Syma X5C quad

I have a Spektrum Dx5e radio that I want to bind with the Amazon Syma X5C quadcopter. But I am having issues trying to pair the two. Anny suggestions?

Does it contain a Spektrum DSM2 or DSMX receiver?

I don't know what receiver is in the Syma X5c. Has anyone binded this quad with a Spektrum radio?

I just looked that up, it has a generic radio, that 99.9 percent won't bind to a Spekrum radio
