Getting feet wet after years being out...which spectrum to get?
Hey guys,
I’ve been out of the hobby for quite awhile. I’m just getting back into it with a few smaller models, but I’m not sure which radio to get for a few small aircraft. I’m looking at the dx6, dx8e, or dx8. I’m a 3D pilot without a lot of free time, so I’ve already purchased a mini Yak54 BNF foamy and dXe transmitter from horizon hobby to get myself started, but will be ordering a Blade 130s heli from Horizon hobby soon. I just want to get quick flights in here and there, but would like to optimize each of those aircrafts as much as possible when I do have the time to run to the park. Which of those radios would be the best bang for my buck for now? I’ll be using the radio for 3d flying only on planes and heli’s. I’ve read reviews and specs on each, but I’m still a little unsure if I really need 8 channels for those two aircraft..
Thanks!
