Question Model Transfer to DX20

I get an error 11: 'Unsupported' invalid enumeration when I try to transfer an aero file via SD card from a
spektrum iX12 to a dx20.
Does anyone know whats wrong

Thanks

I'm not sure the ix is compatible but is the DX20 updated to 2.0?

The other Andy will know better than me, I haven't messed with an ix12 yet

I did some research and the SPM files are compatible so I would check to make sure you have the most recent software, 2.0 in the DX20

Question Model Transfer to DX20

You have to save the model data from the iX12 in the .SPM format not the iSPM format to copy to the DX20.
I have upgraded the radio to 2.0 (the latestsoftware )
Of the 14 models I downloaded to the SD card 12 worked perfectly.
The 2 that don't are of the same model Eurofighter Turbine
I just get the error 11: 'Unsupported' invalid enumeration and nothing else.

That helped immensely! There is an error in the iX12 export mechanism. I'll report it to the iX12 team for correction.

Thank you!

Do you need me to adjust the file so you can import it? Or are you OK with doing the programming yourself?

Hi Andy, Thanks for you prompt attention to my problem.
I would love you to adjust the file so I can import it.
You should find that both Eurofighter files are nearly identical.
I have attached both the iSPM files for you.

Thanks again

I'm on my phone right now so I can't edit, but I can tell you how.

Open it with Notepad++ or gedit. Line 11 says something like tailtype= unsupported. Delete the line completely.

The next line is subTypeB= 9

Change the 9 to 0

Save the file, and it should import just fine.
