Default flapperons

Hey Danny I am a little confused programming an 8103. I wanted to know if I can program Flaperrons and also USE it on the landing switch, so when I apply the flaperrons I can have it change the elevator trim position.

I did have the flaps on the landing switch but found the plane was not vary responsive with the barn door ailerons, so I will be tying the flaps back into the ailerons( physically ) to give it a full strip aileron, it seems flys much better with the prop wash over the inboard part of the ailerons.

I am open to any other suggestion on this setup I have separate servos for the flaps and ailerons outboard in the wings. I did have a crazy thought about tieing the Flap servo to the Ailerons servo with a y cable and using both servos to drive the ailerons but thought it might be over kill to run the aileron with both.

Thanks in advance

Default RE: flapperons

I would suggest setting that up much like our Hangar 9 ultra stick programming, or using the Y harness like you describe. You can find the ultra stick programming here, http://horizon.hobbyshopnow.com/shar...325-manual.pdf , and here, http://horizon.hobbyshopnow.com/shar...ultrastick.pdf .
