XP8103 and basic setup
I had an XF622 that broke into way to many peices to be fixed so I'm looking at upgrading to the XP8103. I have a Century 7 Rx on my Corona Heli. Will I need to upgrade the Rx to work with the XP8103 or should I just be able to get away with changing out the Tx ?
Thanks
Chris

RE: XP8103 and basic setup
Hi Danny
I am new to helicopter and radio programming, when I purchase my first helicopter the guy at the hobby store put it together and trim it for me, I upgraded my XP662 to XP8103 my question is, is it ok to copy out all XP662 setting to the XP8103? If not can you please help set my radio for basic flying? I also would like to know how set throttle curve and pitch curve, this is for a regular heli not ccpm

RE: XP8103 and basic setup
You can use the same values from the 662, but it may require a slight trim change as they may not be 100% the same. Start with the same sub trim, travel adjust values, servo reversing, gyro settings, etc as you 662 and adjust them as necessary. To set the pitch and throttle curves you will need to go to each function, press the channel left and right keys to change between the points, and press the + or - keys to change the value at each point.
