Default jr r-1 programing

hi
i recently bought a jr xs3 and recieved it from hong kong and discovered it was illegal so i am returning it.
I am now looking at the jr r-1 but i was wondering how it compares to other top of the ranger remote like the 3pk and the m8. Also how easy is it to program and use. what does it come with as it servos. Also is pcm worth it or should i get the fm version.

thanks

Default RE: jr r-1 programing

The R-1 is not available with any servos. It comes as the transmitter and receiver only. The R-1 Pro is JR's top of the line system, and is capable of most any programming imaginable for surface use. I find the R-1 to be extremely easy to use. JR makes some of the easiest to program systems on the market. PCM will definitely give more reliable operation and more locked on control. If it is necessary depends on many factors, including model type, your area, etc.
