Default JR compatibility

I am new to the hobby. I have a SIG LT-40 and I would like to purchase a JR radio for it. What model would you recommend? Can it be used to buddy box with another radio from a different manufacturer? Thank You

Default RE: JR compatibility

We don't have any systems that will buddy box with any other brands. For a trainer aircraft, I would recommend the Quattro or 421EX radio systems, or if you want a bit better system yet, go up to the 6102. The 421EX is a computer system that will allow you further adjustability than the quattro system, and also has memory for 2 models, or you can go to the 6102 which has more features than the 421EX with a 10 model memory.
