Default Since changing to JR XP 662......

I've had to turn the gain on my gyro right down, or else the tail is constantly wagging. [:@]

My original tx was the smartech and I had the gain right up no probs, except too much tail authority, but i got use to that.

I'm using the GWS 4ch rx that came with heli, GWS PG-03 gyro, 370 motor, edf40 (not H) for tail motor, century mixer (purple one) 1320mah thunderpower Li-po.

The revo mix is set to 0%, I still have to lean on the stick to the left to stop the heli rotating,it's now seems to be less contollable.[sm=punching.gif]

Any ideas appreciated

I do not know why changing the TX would have any effect on the gain of the gyro, since the gain is set on the gyro itself. Did anything else change? Do you have a higher head speed now than before?

Thanks for the reply. Would the default settings of the tx, cause a higher head speed ? The tx is all that is different.

Cheers

I assume that the heli is a fixed pitch model if you are using a 4 channel receiver? If so, I don't see how it could, other than if you now have more power through throttle settings etc. If it is not a fixed pitch heli, the pitch could be different which would change the head speed.
