Default Jr Galaxy 8 Channel radio

I have 3 of these and I want to know if they are safe to still use. I have been flying them for a long time and know I was told that is was a wide band, and not a narrow band, can you help me here and tell me what I have and if it is a problem. Can the transmitter module be bad because if it or not. If so what about the receivers I have (6) in all are they not good to use either.????

If the system is wide band, it is illegal to use it. If you are not sure you should send it in. If it is wide band, it will have to be sent in. If the receivers are wide band, you will need to get new receivers. We would need to know what receivers you have in order to know if they are wide band or not. If they are older receivers, say ABC&W on the label, and use a grey crystal they are narrow band, if they use a black crystal and/or do not say ABC&W they are likely wide band.

The Receivers I have are an ABC&W they do not have gray crystal and they are the NER-J329P receivers with the J72P transmitter Module. Are these the proper ones to have???. However I do have a old Century VII receiver NER-327X is this a good receiver yet?, and is it narrow band or Wide. Form your first reply I take it that the setup I have is OK.

The 329 receivers are narrow band, also the module you have NET-J72P, is narrow band as well. The 327 receiver is narrow band if it says ABC&W AND uses a gray crystal. If it uses a black crystal, it is wide band. They will work ok, a new receiver may work better, but they should work just fine.
