Default CCPM with JR X-388S

Danny,

I have a JR X-388S and want to set it up 4 x 90 CCPM to control my Eco-8. I recently recieved a photocopy of the manual from Horizon, thanks, and I can't find any information on how to set it up. (A couple of pages where missing in the copy) Does the JR X-388S support 90 deg CCPM? I read on another post something about some older JR radios needing a firmware upgrade to support CCPM. Is this true for the X-388S? Can I do it myself if I have a serial cable/trainer cord or will I need to send it to Horizon for the upgrade?

Thanks

Jeff

Default RE: CCPM with JR X-388S

Yes, the 388 is capable of CCPM, but requires activation by sending the system in. This is a free service. After activation it is capable of standard, 2 servo 180, 3 servo 120, and 4 servo 90. The manual however doesn't include this as the CCPM function was not available in the system when the manual for the 388 was produced.
