Default 10SX questions

Danny
I am trying to help a club member who is using JR radios. Please excuse my ignorance here, I do not fly with JR. Due to health problems, he needs to start using a buddy box. He has a 10Sx and an 8103. Most of his planes are set up on the 10SX.

Questions:
Is the trainer feature available with the 10SX? If so, where do we get directions.

If not, I suggested setting up the 8103. Since it is on a different frequency, I assume that it is simply a matter of exchanging frequency modules. Does the module from the 10SX work?

Thanks
Bill

Hi Bill

There are 2 version of the 8103, a digital and normal trim version. If it is the digital trim, it should work no problem. The modules are interchangeable. JR allows you to also hand over certain functions, you can keep control of throttle and elevator if you like and only give them aileron to start with.

Horizon Hobbies have all the JR handbooks on their web site if you need.

Regards

Zane

So, doing a search I find that the 10SX has no trainer function.
(Yea, I know, I should have done the *$%$)# search BEFORE asking)
I will help this guy set his planes up on his 8103
Thanks
Bill
