Default xp 6102 problem

I SEEN ON THE HORIZON WEB SITE THAT THE XP6102 HAS A PROBLEM CAN YOU EXPLAIN THIS? ALSO ON MY NEW XP6102 CAN YOU RESET THE TIMER?

It isn't really a problem. Early 6102 systems shipped out with a diode in the charge circuit that doesn't allow cycling and many peak detection chargers to work. The system will operate correctly outside of this. If you have a 6102 and can not cycle or peak charge through the charge jack, you can send the system in, and we will correct this so that you can at no charge.

I cannot provide specifics on the diode to jump as there are liability and warranty issues for jumping the diode yourself. The system must be sent in for this service. This is a no charge service.
