Digital servo overload ?

I have the 8103 with the R649 PCM RX going in a Ziroli P-40. First I was going to run dual RX's but I'm seeing this is not a good idea ? There is a bloke at our field flying a 40% job using dual JR PCM's and seems to work fine for him. Due to it's size and weight I am concerned about the safety factor. I had two planes go in last year because the PCM's went into failsafe, it turned out that the RCS engines I was using had spark plug boot problems causing interference. This I hope will not be the case since this plane will have a magneto engine in it. If I could use the dual, I really would like too. I have the RX's already.
First question- Will I be overloading the RX buss if I use the following setup if only using one RX ?
Ailerons - Hitec 5645 Digitals (2) y harnessed
Flaps - Hitec 5645 Digitals (2) y harnessed
Elevators - Hitec 5645 Digitals (2) y harnessed
Retracts (main valve and mech Tail wheel) Hitec 5645 Digitals (2) y harnessed
Rudder/Tailwheel steering - Hitec 5735 Digital (1)
9 servos total
(2) 1650mah NIMH 4.8 packs (2) switches
Also, I am concerned over RF problems due to the lengths of extensions in the plane including the batteries to switches using 18" extensions and then the switches to RX using 18" extension
Should I install some chokes and if so where ?

Generally 9 servos is pushing the limits for 1 receiver, but since some of them are for the gear and the flaps and shouldn't be drawing much through the whole flight, you should be fine. Running dual batteries to the receiver would be a very good idea. You can run 2 receivers if it works best for your set up, but we prefer 1 receiver due to the potential loss in range of running 2 receivers. If you do run 2, just be sure to do a thorough range test, which should be done either way. JR engineers advise to use an RF filter on any extensions longer than 36" (JRPA028 or JRPA029), I also recommend one on the lead from the throttle servo to the receiver. It may also be a good idea for the lead from the switches to the receiver.
